Voigt; Ron Ratliff, and Rachel Schneider Capella University, Financial Aid
Counselors, Office of Financial Aid are just three amigos who
got their jobs at this institution, through other incompetent employees
of Capella. I have been attending Capella since the last
two years. I never had a problem with my financial
aid before, until now. These three amigos told me
that some of my loans were not consolidated from prior
schools that I attended, and that was the reason why
I was not eligible to recieve new financial aid or
2008 - 2009. This is what all three
jackass wrote, “Per the National Student Loan Data Base System
(NSLDS) it looks you were overawarded as an undergrad. Capella
University is required to use the National Student Loan Data
Base System (NSLDS) to review loan history and determine stafford
eligiblity. All of your undergraduate loans look as though they
have been consolidated except one subsidized loan. It appears this
loan may be a duplicate loan; however, we will need
proof that either this loan is a duplicate or it
has been paid off before your 2008-2009 financial aid can
be awarded." Everyone that I spoke to suggest that you
can't go by the information in the NSLDS to determine
financial aid reward(s). It wasn't a problem then the
last two years, and it shouldn't be a problem now.
After I got in touch with th lender of my
prior loans that I consolidated. I send disclosure statements, master
promisory note and other proof to these three morans, to
show that all my prior loans that I had, before
attending Capella have been consolidated and I am in deferment
status. These three jackass still refuse to acknowledge the information,
and refuse to process my financial aid. I had to
contact the office of the Ombudsman at the US Department
of Education so they can open an enquiry in this
matter. There are so much much incompetent people employed at
Capella in all departments, and I am looking forward in
attending a traditional university in the near future.
