When you're enjoying a picnic on the lawn, the trees are beginning to turn yellow, and you just finished Pumphandle, a Knox tradition where you shake hands with every other person on campus, you look up at historic Old Main and you can't think of anywhere else you'd rather be. Knox is a wonderful school that will change your life and the way you see the world. Diversity here isn't just about numbers, it is about integrating multicultural experiences and perspectives into your education. The school is run by the students and in the best interest of the students. Our motto, cheesy but true, is "Freedom to Flourish." At Knox there is no idea too big or too grand. If you want to do something, whether it be an independent research project, a study-abroad program, or starting a new club, the faculty and staff will do whatever they can to make it happen, providing funds, campus spaces, and support for all of your endeavors.
