Loyola students like to study and spend a lot of time in the dorms and IC. It is well known for premed and that's about it. If you want to get into med school and that's all you care about come here. Many Loyola students go to church. If you are a hard core catholic come here. Or if you enjoy staying in on weekends come here. Otherwise PLEASE choose another school! Loyola really does lack a social life. Greek life and house parties are almost non existent. Joining clubs does not mean you will make friends. Ladies if you ever want to meet a guy DO NOT COME HERE. The ratio of male to female is 35:65. Half the guys are gay, the other half are socially awkward. Also most Loyola students ignore the great city of Chicago. Plus if you are under 21 there is nothing to do after dark unless yo have concert or sports tickets. And Chicago is expensive. The sales tax alone is 10%. Campus housing is pretty nice but campus dining is terrible. Please consider going elsewhere. I personally have decided to transfer after only one semester.
