Northwestern is a great school, but for a non-Southern, private school, the Greek system is a bit too prevalent for my tastes. That's only a matter of taste, though. If you don't mind that, there are no real drawbacks here. If you're like me, you will find by talking to your friends that college generally isn't terribly difficult, so the fact that NU hasn't challenged me too much isn't a knock on it as a school. It's about the world's most beautiful campus, though, if you throw out the library, and every day that it's sunny, I just have to look up and smile.
