Major: Music - Performance (This Major's Salary over time)
I have only completed one quarter at Northwestern, but I feel that it's important for people to know how positive my experience has been so far. The academic opportunity is wonderful, and my professors have all made themselves available to us. The social life isn't bad if you make the effort to find a group where you fit in. I am in a five-year double degree program in the School of Music and the College of Arts and Sciences. I love how flexible your academic curriculum is. I have the freedom to study exactly what I want to study, and it won't be a problem if I change my mind. The students here are pretty friendly, and I have had no problem getting to know people. There are tons of opportunities for extracurricular involvement. I really think Northwestern is helping me to develop myself as an individual, which is what the college experience should ultimately emphasize above all else.
