My experience in the ABSN Nursing program in Oakbrook was the worst nightmare of my life. There classes are online and poorly structured. Your Professors do not even try to help you succeed and always place the blame on you. Some of their staff have no floor nursing experience yet they claim to be proficient faculty members. How can this be possible? How can a University give Professorship to people that have barely worked as a nurse on a unit for even 5 years? Likewise, there are also many staff members here who openly hate Hispanic and Mexicans. A significant portion of the staff here are hardcore Republican who believe that everyone who is not white is not suited for a career as a nurse. There is a deep grown bias towards Hispanic students. There is no cultural sensitivity and respect for others among staff members.
