Like Heaven on Earth. No, really. Everyone here was so interesting and down-to-earth; they were motivated to do well in school but they also cared about helping out their friends. We were all so idealistic; we dreamed of doing something big and changing the world. My professors were generally adequate, at the very least, but a few were truly awe-inspiring. The campus was beautiful, even in the wintertime and you never could run out of things to do. Then there's the city, which I took the time to explore moreso than most of my fellow students (at least three nights a week). There are people who hate it here, but they usually fit a certain mold: misanthropic and ugly students who did not have fun in high school and never learned to have fun in college. They tended to hang around themselves, thankfully. My advice: join a frat or a sorority, find good friends and get the most out of your four years here. It's hard here sometimes, but if things click for you like they did for me, you won't ever want to leave. (Maybe I'm just extra giddy because of the amazing opportunities I've gotten, financial and otherwise, ever since college ended.)
