First off I am a city girl and it was VERY hard to adjust to such a small town such as Florence, AL.  I am going to graduate in May and am goingt o be so happy that I can go back to my hometown of Atlanta, GA.  So if you a re a city person and do not see yourself adjusting well to a small town then I would not suggest you make these one of your options.  Anothe rthing is I transferred here from another university my sophomore year and UNA is not a college where you can live the “real” college life with all the parties and sorities and fraternities all over campus..stomping the yard.  so you will basically come home and go to school.

On another note.  I feel like the school does nto care about ina sense of when you work for them.  you only get paid once a month and when you do get paid, you get your check way after all of your bills are due.  My rent is always late.  My utilities is always late etc.  Because most often you dont get paid until 6th,7th,or,8th.  and for christmas break they dont even start your process until after the break so you get paid even later.  Maybe like the 10th or so of January.  So I fell like they dont care about their students in that sense.  So you might want to consider working off campus if you are allowed to and have a car because nothing is in walking distance form campus.
