Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
My four years at IU were some of the best years of my life. I double majored in Political Science and Journalism, and am now in a smaller, private school for law school. Now that I have been away from IU for over a year and attend a smaller, more "prestigious" private school for grad school, I can more fully appreciate just how special of a place that the university and town is. From a beautiful campus to an amazingly eclectic town to world class arts (broadway shows and university talent) to the bar scene to the diversity of in-state, out-of-state, and international students, Bloomington truly is a microcosm of the world in a small town. You can't beat that. I have had friends attend schools all over the country of all sizes and reputations. All contend that they don't understand how one could go to IU and not have a good experience. It has everything—the arts, music, parties, campus, sports, etc. Now, I am at a more prestigious private law school and sorely miss the action from a Big 10 school like IU. If you have a change, go to IU and be a Hoosier for 4 years…go Big Red!!
