Don't expect much in the aviation industry unless you are at the top of your class academically. I've only been working for about 5 months now, but I started at at the bottom just like the people that didn't go to school. Because of my education though my bosses are seeing I can do more, and giving me more responsibility. I have a good job, with good benefits. It just doesn't pay well. But it is paying me to go to grad school, so I'll be getting a better job in a couple of years anyway. What prepared me for real life more than classes was my fraternity. Being a leader there has made more of an impact than any lecture could.
