Seriously, what is the big fuss about Amherst, Dartmouth, Harvard or Yale?? They're just names. Let's face it, these schools are known for their Liberal Arts education. We all know that a Communications major will have a tough time finding jobs no matter where he went to school.

For technical majors: Engineering, Science, and Math, etc. There are bigger names than the Ivies. MIT, CalTech, Georgia Tech, University Of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, Carnegie Mellon, and many more that produce good technical students for the industry, research, or academia.

If you're going to major in Psychology, History, Sociology, etc.. save the hundreds of thousands of dollars and go to a state university (U Mass), you'll just waste a lot of money that you probably will not be able to pay back because you can't find employment.
