Boston College students are very critical of BC. Personally I have felt the same quite often but in the end I think it was a good choice since i had some good teachers I could relate to and had time for me. the student teacher ration is good and BC has a very physically handsome student body. They might not be a bunch of geniuses but they are active and often hard working people. BC can be fun if one feel comfortable in a mainstream environment where sport teams are loved and academics are still respectable. This is not the environment a nerd could thrive in, but I have witnessed them surviving. I would have to stress that there is a lot of diversity at BC (more so than I thought as a freshmen or sophmore) but it is still a school where you party hard and study hard. (the university tries to deny the party hard part but comparitivly to other boston schools, this is the hardest partying school which some might not like). It is still catholic and at times very conservative but it is still an east coast liberal U.
