Holy Cross is an excellent school across the board. The professors are adept at providing a rigorous and challenging education and maintain a supportive, friendly learning environment. The campus is beautiful, and there are plenty of on-campus activities in which most students (but not all) participate. The spiritual life on campus is active but not at all overbearing. Students are generally polite, interesting, dedicated people. Many alumni, myself included, maintain close relationships with their peers and professors from the school. Holy Cross helped me become a stronger, more compassionate, more insightful person while improving my academic and intellectual ability.

I would recommend that both high school and college students take advantage of any extracurriculars offered to them that may overlap with their interests or abilities. After five years out of college, I rarely think fondly about weekend parties, but I can still recount great conversations with friends and professors, cool trips, and eye-opening service projects with a smile.
