Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
The MIT way of thinking takes some getting used to. Everything is based on problem-solving. I know that in my department, biology, most of my friends at other schools memorize and repeat facts. Here, biology classes ask you to apply these facts to hypothetical situations; exams frequently ask what sort of assay you would run to determine something, what sample results mean, etc.
MIT is not for everyone.
