So this is a totallyy unorganized review cuz i'm just speaking what's on my mind..

Overall, Suffolk is a terrible school to go to, especially if you're looking for a legit 'college experience.' First off, I'm an art major and the art school is an approximate 20 minute walk away, depending on which building you live in.  That's one hell of a walk if you're carrying a crap load in your portfolio and it sucks even more when you have class before or after on the other side of the school.  It's honestly on the other side of the city.  Unlike most schools with a campus, you'd have to cross the Boston Commons and the Public Garden in order to get to the art school.  & That's no fun at all, especially walking through the Commons at night.  Basically, if you're unlucky and is stuck with a late schedule at the art school, you're screwed even if you decide to take the T back to your residence hall.  Why?  because first off, you're tired, you don't want to be carrying a huge portfolio around, and from the T, you'd have to walk at least 2, or 3 blocks away (possibly even walking uphill on Park St or Beacon Hill if you live in Miller or the Holiday Inn) and by the time you've got to your destination, you're fuckedd cus you're so exhausted from the 3 hour art classes and crap.

Don't get me wrong, Boston is an absolutely gorgeous city and the surroundings of Suffolk isn't bad, but it definitely doesn't compare to Northeastern, BU, etc because they actually have a legit campus.  The problem with Suffolk's location is that it's in the CENTER of downtown, which kind of makes it unsafe.  There's tons of homeless people begging for money and that kind of makes it scary for people to walk around at night.  And the fact that Suffolk is right next to Emerson (one of the most dangerous colleges) doesn't help either.  Seriouslyyy, it's retarded.

The people at Suffolk aren't so dandy either.  They're definitely not the brightest people around.  Let's just say, almost everyone goes to Allston to part every weekend.  Everyone's always getting drunk, despite what day of the week it is and that's absolutely ridiculous.  Seriously?  No one really gives a crap about their school work either.  If they're a tiny bit stressed out, they drink.  Not to mention, people tend to be extremely clicky.  They are so immature and act like middle schoolers.  For instance, the previous semester, people at 150 Tremont weren't allowed to have guests because they decide to pee and shit all over the suits.  You can't tell me that's not immature and disgusting.  Mind you, these people are COLLEGE STUDENTS, supposedly.  ALSO, it's impossible to study in your room with people in the hallway running around like wild animals.

I was totally thinking of transferring but I'm obviously fucked because the credits aren't even transferrable.  Apparently, the first semester, i'm supposed to have 4 art classes (which is what normal universities have) and i didn't.  Therefore, I have to wait until next semester.  Most of the classes don't measure up to other university's credits so it's not that easy to transfer, unless you decide to go to a community college instead.

It's impossible to save money in Suffolk.  First off, your friends are most likely rich because come on now, you have to have good money to afford to go to such a nonsense school for so much money.  And second off, people spend all of their money shopping (cuz there's not that much to do) or on alcohol since everyone is drunkies there.

BASICALLY, i do not advise any to come here AT ALL.
