Quality of life at Tufts is excellent. The food is excellent although the freshman meal plan (unlimited meals) is a lot of food for those who don't need much to eat.Students are extremely friendly, and it is easy to meet new people. Tufts students enjoy casual, spur of the moment debates about politics and global issues. Many students like to stay informed about world events (especially International Relations majors, of whom there are many). Grading is quite tough and A's are challenging to earn. Grade inflation seems nonexistent. Fortunately, the academic "atmosphere" is focused but not competitive. Students know how to work hard but manage to stay relaxed.School spirit is HIGH, ridiculously so for a school with division III sports.
