Tufts was an outstanding experience, academically and otherwise. I felt very challenged and stimulated by almost every class I took there. I also had time to socialize and develop enduring friendships—just as important as academics in one's long term success and happiness, IMO. Proximity to Boston allowed for personal growth and experiences had by virtue of proximity to other great and varied universities. Unfortunate biases in the ranking schemes (i.e. US News) give a misreprentation of Tufts' real quality. I was admitted to a top graduate school in NYC after two years working in consulting and am now in the process of starting a technology company. My peers in graduate school that also attended Tufts were consistently some of the top performers amongst graduates of the Ivy League. I have no regrets whatsoever, except the occasional annoyance at peoples' obtuseness in judging Tufts based on US News' rankings.
