Be cautious of the comments that are strictly hate comments. This comment is both a review and advice. Yes, I am a Seventh-Day Adventist, but I have been in public schools all my life and had no problem with it. This school has potential, but falls very short. One of the major problems is that this school's academics. I strongly recommend going to a different school if you want a variety of majors and strong academics. They literally have every major any school has, seriously. Yet they have NO art majors or art classes. None.

Being a commuter is a little rough too, but you get out what you put in. Activities and events are present but mostly announced to those who live on campus. People here are nice, but very cliquey and fake. I have seen the dorms and heard the horror stories of the bathrooms. I will say though that the events are fun, and watching the AcroAirs team is really cool. If you do commute, find someone who lives on campus to tell you whats going on.

The school is very expensive, like all Adventist colleges. I went here because it was close to home, and saves money. It's hard to get a job here if you don't know many people. It's also difficult to get money out of the school. Want to graduate in 4 years? Highly unlikely here. Not enough classes with good amount of credits.

Overall, I would have applied to more schools. But being here wasn't a complete waste. The worship is great, but God is with you no matter where you are. The food was good to me but I didn't live there, so I didn't buy food everyday. Is the school worth the price? No. Should you come here? No. You can do much much better. Don't come here just because your parent or friend goes/went here. Go to a state school. Go to a better school. Want an Adventist school? Check out some other ones. If you don't take my word for it, visit the campus but be mindful of the students, they are required to make WAU look good.

I really hope my review gave someone out there a good perspective. If you do go to this school, it's never too late to transfer and save your wallet, time, and yourself!
