Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
St Joe's is a really nice, friendly and suportive community. You can be yourself here. The nursing program I'm in is excellent, and because we are basically in a suburb of Portland, we do our clinical work in and around Portland. This puts us in a well-regarded and high-caliber medical community, with plenty of medical jobs during school and after graduation. Also, St. Joe's wants as many outstanding students as possible, so if you are a good student who might not qualify for much financial aid, St. Joe's will still give you great academic scholarship money that bigger name schools (like the NESCAC schools) won't because they don't need to in order to attract the highest level students.
