Date: Oct 27 2006 Major: Chemistry (This Major's Salary over time) Great Engineering school. Pretty good Management school. It doesn't get you very far in the Science/Math fields. Finding a co-op job that relates to your major is difficult for Science/Math majors. The corporate relations managers are horrible at assisting you with getting interviews. The only job after graduation I could get was a lab tech. I'm surrounded by people who have 2 or 4 year degrees at schools that didn't leave them with $60,000+ student loans. Most of them don't even have student loans. The experience I got from the labs at school and at my co-op employers did put me well ahead of my co-workers in that respect…but, I still make the same amount of money as them.Overall, go somewhere else for a science/math degree. Plus, to put it in the nicest way possibe; Flint Sucks.
