Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
Kettering offers a great CS Program. It is one of the only schools where you will have first year classes with Professors with PhD's instead of a TA. The Kettering professors really enjoy teaching, but they WILL MAKE YOU WORK. The university perpares everything they can to help you succeed including having residence hall tutors who are available 24/7 and providing tutors from 8-5 in another building for all other subjects. The professors are always willing to stay after, or schedule a meeting to help you be a successful student.Some complain about campus saftey at KU, in reality it is not an issue. Every external door is secured by a card - lock, students from other terms can't even get in. The campus is connected by tunnels underground, you can attend class and get lunch on the coldest days of winter without ever steping outside. On nasty michigan days, these tunnels are a blessing!
