Granted this is a large school and can be overwhelming at first. However, the VERY friendly population of East Lansing makes the transition so smooth. The requirement to live in the dorms freshmen year is the very reason this university has so many nice and intelligent people. The running joke between Michigan and Michigan State is that students go here because they didn’t get into U of M. Clearly this is not the case, comparing ACT and GPAs from both schools shows an almost equal average of scores. The Business School is one of the kind and top in the nation, I’ve enjoyed my time here and I’ve been set up with an amazing internship this summer with the help of my advisors. The social life is great and Big Ten sports are the best - if you want to feel part of a great community this school is for you.
