Western
is a great school for certain diciplines. I consider it
to rank (with the exceptions of sports) in league with
U of M and state. If it had a medical
school it would be considered in the top tier. Western
is a weird mix however. It is great for academics
and great for those who really only want to go
to college to drink and party for a few years.
Its philosophy program is considered in the top ten in
the country, its aviation program has assets otherschools can only
dream about, they actually have a boeing 747. Overall western
is an eclectic mix of smart people and dumbasses. Also,
if you are interested in pyschology with a cognitive behaivorist
perspective western is really good for that as well. considering
all factors it is a pretty damn good school. My
opinon of it changed drastically in my time there from
it being horrible to being pretty damn good. With western
it just depends on your ambition you only get what
you give as they say.
