I'm just going to start out by saying I have actually thought of leaving every semester, even went as far as applying to other schools, but I never leave. MCAD is seriously one a kind. I mean, all art schools have similarities but I think that being in the midwest, and having a unique art community is what sets us apart. Plus you have to really love art to go through our winters.

I loved MCAD from the minute I stepped on campus for a tour. I worked my butt off to get into this school. I originally went for film but transferred over to the BS program for Marketing. It's been fantastic. Yes, it can be rough sometimes because we do work with real clients and with real clients comes restrictions on what we can and cannot do. But the experience is so worth going through all the hoops. I've met so many amazing people since I switched over. I've worked with non-profits, Allina clinic and hospitals, McNally Smith College of Music, MCAD itself, and I'm sure there will be many more to come in the future. It's a one of a kind program, don't miss out on it.
