St. John's was basically a gondola of perverts hanging from an overinflated balloon of hype; I saw more dishonesty and innappropriate behavior there from BOTH students and faculty than I would ever have believed possible at a university. It's expensive, the administration will find ways to chisel additional dollars from you, and even when youn THINK you're finished with them, they'll hold your transcript until you cough up more cash. The bureaucracy is unreal!! Faculty are hard to find and hard to get time with. They pat themselves on the back thinking that they are great scholars, but real scholars laugh at them. I was completely unprepared for graduate school even though I had fantastic grades at SJU (mostly A's). Good food the only positive. AVOID THIS SCHOOL!!!!
