Southern is a second rate school with an ever expanding
tuition. The amount paid in tuition does not equal
the quality of education that is received. MSSU is
barely a step above a community college. Most of
the students are commuter, non-traditional (meaning over the age of
24), which makes for a very non-college environment. Professors
are always making comments and arrangements for student parents, because
nearly half of the class has children. If you
want a full college experience, go somewhere else.
ADMINISTRATION-STUDENT COMMUNICATION IS TERRIBLE. There are no paper bills sent to home
addresses and students will be dropped from classes without any
prior notice. I was dropped from spring classes because
I hadn't paid a $47 charge that was applied two
days before all payments were due. Also, I can
go weeks without getting any college related emails in my
school inbox.
