Northwest is a really good school to get an education. While many of the people there are friendly, a lot of the kids are from the KC area and are extremely cliquey. They tend to only hang out/date people who they knew before college, and it is very difficult to get close to people who are still caught up in high school. Opprotunities to get out and meet other new people are limited to the residence halls, which are terrible. Even the new Hudson/Perrin dorms are quiet and dead. The town of Maryville is a friendly place, but thats it. If you come to Northwest without going greek or playing a sport, good luck staying.
