Mizzou is huge. There's around twenty eight thousand people walking around this massive campus every day. Quite literally, you see hundreds - sometimes thousands - of people walking in between classes. There's a good amount of diversity amongst faculty and students. (My freshman year, 2 out of 10 professors were American) Mizzou's known to be a big "feeder" school from Kansas City (Missouri) and St. Louis. Greek life is huge - there's over 30 sororities and fraternities, and the notion is that if you're not involved in a Greek organization, you have no social life. That's definitely not true, but had I not come from St. Louis, I think it'd be much harder to make friends. It's just so big it's overwhelming at times. In short, Mizzou is not for everyone.

And yes, it's absolutely a party school. No if's, and's, or but's about it. Don't believe me? Go to a Mizzou tailgate. They're absolutely insane. Or pass through campus on a Thursday night.
