I
am an international student from South America and I think
that Duke has tons of things to offer. When I
came here I wasn't expecting more than good teachers and
work my ass off studying but now I realized that
I can play sports get involved into clubs and study.
The atmosphere is great and you can always find people
with common interests. What I also like about Duke is
the size. After attending Georgia Tech for a couple of
months I felt that there were a lot of “not
very intelligent” people around while here everyone I met has
something to say or a cool story about their lives
or home. I think that the essay is one of
the most important thing for the application and well it
obviously helps if a member of your family attended Duke.
Duke has its own fun things to do which
fit every individual. I feel that everyone is involved into
something and everybody seems happy.
