Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I entered "Computer Science", because it's the closest to what I do - UNCC has a unique College of Information Technology, I think one of the few in the nation. Within this college are programs in Computer Science & Software and Information Systems. The Department of Software and Information Systems has been designated by NSA as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education. They have Cyber-Defense Scholarship opportunities (partnership with the federal gov't), and have incredible faculty in this area. All in all, if you are seriously interested in IT - Charlotte is the best place in NC for sure. You have to stick it out through basic undergrad courses that can be discouraging, but hold onto your hat when you get to junior year and dig into your major!
