I love the University. Like any it has its problems but there are many more pros than cons. If you are an incoming freshman you will have many chances to get involved around campus. If you live in a freshman dorm such as Sanford or Moore Hall there are at least 20 programs going on in the building from Basketball tournaments to sex education to Money management to Bible study. There are a copious amount of restaurant options in the university area and surrounding. Nightlife is Downtown just 10 mins away. There are even free party busses so you dont have to worry about a DD. Overall UNCC is a great school that is growing each year.
