I have read and heard people say all sorts of things about UNCC. I think UNCC is great institution poised to become one of the top notch institutions in the country. During my stay at UNCC, I have found students, faculty and everybody else involved in the university to be helpful, friendly and trying hard to succeed in your future. One thing which always help is to have an industry around to get you a job after you graduate. For UNCC, there is Charlotte which houses financial giants like Bank of America, Wachovia, Lowe's Speedway, and energy giant Duke Power along with many other potential employers. There is a plenty of decent on and off-campus housing available closely situated to the university and the classes. Plenty of parking available. Great library and quite a few things going on campus to keep you busy alongside studies. You have to be here to experience all that. I think UNCC does not get all the credit it deserves is because it is always competing against the giants of like UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, NC State etc. in North Carolina. But one has to consider its date of inception,i.e., 1949, hardly 60 years back. The gym, tennis courts, and all the other facilities are top notch. Nobody is perfect which includes UNCC. I am not thinking of transferring to any other school and if given a choice to start over, I might choose this school again too. So there!!!
