I would like to update my opinions from a previous review I placed on the University as a freshmen. I am now almost done with my sophomore year.

First off, I turned down NC State and App State for Charlotte. I am a Marketing and Management double major with a history minor.

I find it inaccurate that so many students on here are placing negative comments. I absolutely love my experience at UNC Charlotte and will be a hardcore Niner till the day I die.

I have found a ton of extracurricular activities to get involved in. Somewhere between student orgs, intramurals, attending athletic events, etc I have found my place at Charlotte. I am actually having to decommit from some things because I am overly involved in campus and don't have enough time to devote to my studies.

Right now the best thing I have done at Charlotte has been to get involved in Student organizations. We currently have around 350 student organizations on campus. The best one that I have found is Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). We do around a dozen unique community service projects each year that we created. This org is excellent for making connections and getting internships. We have many SIFE students who get internships with companies like Bank of America and Unilever. Some internships that our SIFE students get are in excess of $30 per hour. Simply put, SIFE is amazing, our faculty advisors are amazing and our students are amazing. SIFE is the best thing I have ever done in my life. Because of SIFE I am now getting interviews and making connections that nobody else has the chance to make. Just last week I met the former CFO of Domino's pizza and UPS.

UNC Charlotte has probably the best location in the state for internships, put point blank. There are career fairs every semester where companies come looking to recruit UNC Charlotte students!!! Bank of America holds massive on campus interviews for summer internships on our campus. The Charlotte area has so many opportunities if you only apply yourself. If you come to Charlotte you will have opportunities to exploit these if you know how to apply yourself. Many of the people complaining are probably the students who join a fraternity/sorority and do nothing else but party and not apply themselves.

Charlotte has a ton of intramural sports. In terms of flag football, we have one of the largest programs in the state with over 140 teams signing up for mens team last semester. We also have some new $7 million dollar rec facilities. We have large intramural basketball, bowling, volleyball, baseball, dodgeball programs plus basically any other sport you can think of.

In the past the admission standards were much lower than they are now. They have recently started to skyrocket compared to before. Our public perception remains similar, although it has changed slightly. We now have students who are turning down top schools in the state and other states.

Charlotte is an excellent University. At the end of each day I know that I am lucky and proud to be a Niner. I wouldn't give up my experience at Charlotte for the world. I would recommend to everyone that they at least give Charlotte a chance. If you would like to ask a question then I am happy to reply. Just fair warning, I don't know a whole lot about certain majors.

Hi. I'm little relived after reading your opinion. I wanted to know how funding provided by the university? Availabilty of RA's, GA's.

Regards

responseFunding for the University is partially from the State of North Carolina and the rest is through tuition, fees and alumni donations. There is always a RA on duty in the on campus residences. GAs are often in larger classes to help the professor with grading and other medial tasks. They also sometimes offer tutoring sessions near exam times.
responseAny student can use the university placed reading tips and funding articles. That all have been issued to write essay writing service reviews and university major concepts on every subject with better articles.
commentThanks a lot for giving an idea about the institution. I am sure that how much we could trust the review shared here. I hope the information you have given is true and trusting your words I am taking admission in this institution. Cannabidiol for Pain Management
