I am a recent graduate of UNC Charlotte and I have to say that it was an awesome experience. The campus is one of the nicest you will find any where in the country. Most of my professors were always helpful and approachable. I just graduated and found a job right out of college. I still get a good amount of calls from recruiters and different companies with job/interview offers which I think says a lot considering the state of the economy and unemployment rate. As far as the social life goes, I think its ridiculous people are saying there is nothing to do. I agree with everyone else that says college is what you make it. I am from out of state and did not know a single person when I came. My advice to these people is step outside your dorm room, there are 20,000 people that go to school there. I'm sure at least a few of them will actually get along with you and maybe you will have a social life. Join a fraternity, club sports, or any of the other hundreds of organizations on campus but for gods sake just quit complaining. I never had trouble finding things to do over the weekend, but I am probably more of a likeable person than the people who are sitting in their dorm room with their door closed complaining. If you have that kind of attitude anywhere (charlotte, app, state, chapel hill) your social life will be just as lame.
