Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
As a white, middle-class student, I have never felt so prejudiced against. UNCG caters to one group of students only and let me tell you, that is not my group. The social life at this school is non-existent with a large majority going home on weekends or living off campus. I am a very social person and had a very difficult time finding a niche at this school. While I do enjoy my department, I feel no pride in going to this school. I will not be walking at graduation neither will the majority of my friends as we feel there is no need and just want to get out as fast as we can. To give an idea of this school social scene: I am spending my senior year, the time when you should be getting the most out of your college experience and spending it with friends, I will be enjoying myself in a another country far away from UNCG and not missing a thing about it. When many of the students study abroad and when asked why the answer is "I just didn't want to spend it at UNCG". It's time to find another school to attend.
