Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Wake Forest gave me an opportunity to live in the South for 4 years and it was a great experience. My main contention with the school surrounded my major, the Calloway Business school. Being from a major metrpolitan area in New England, I know that Wake is a not a name every employer knows well. The difficult academics, deflated average GPAs, and extensive divisional requirements do not necessarily register with most businessmen, although many Wake professors would claim that EVERYONE knows how hard the school is. This is simply not true. Although I graduated with a respectable GPA, I know far too many smart classmates who are struggling to land jobs because of their GPAs. Wake needs more external awareness when it comes to addressing academic requirements and expectations.
