I
love Wake Forest. The campus is beautiful, the courses are
worth every penny and the people are life-long friend material.
It's easy to meet people and it's easy to be
social (even if you're not in a sorority/fraternity). I
have taken a class in every department have loved all
of my professors. Many of them want to meet you
outside of class and several of them have become positive
academic mentors.
Wake is full of hard-working, goal-oriented students.
They have INCREDIBLY strong programs. If you're in business or
medicine, you couldn't ask for a better undergraduate education. The
professors expect a LOT of their students and the library
is always full during midterms and finals (it's great to
see a friendly face when you've been reviewing your notes
for 10 hours).
The campus is picturesque and completely
conducive to creating a real community.
I'm a HUGE fan
of college sports and I love that Wake has a
small-town feel with BIG TIME sports! Basketball and football are
usually strong in the ACC and our soccer team are
the best in the country (no joke, National Champs).
The
school has wonderful traditions, but the administration isn't adverse to
change if it's something the students want. They also provide
you with all of the tools you need to pursue
your own studies- whether they take you to the famous
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center or ABROAD.
Study abroad!
It's one of the best experiences you can have and
Wake makes it so easy, many students go MORE than
once!!!
I can't say enough good things about Wake.
It's an amazing place. If you are lucky enough to
