I've only been here for 5 months, yet already it's home and I've a huge number of friends—I had thought it'd take a while for close friendships to develop, but with a campus this small getting to know people is easy. There are all sorts of extracurriculars for all types of people, and nobody is stigmatized for any preferences.I used to dislike the small town of Hanover, but then realized that were we situated in the middle of a big city the atmosphere would be worse (plus, it would be hard to get all one's work done). The town is such a college town that you can find a lot of interest there anyways—the main bookstore has a huge travel, maps, foreign language, philosophy, religion, cultural, and coles notes section, for example.
