Social life: The people who bitch about Drew are the type of people that you don't want to know. There's no reason someone can't be happy here. MOST people are extremely friendly and despite rumors, there actually is plenty to do. Here's a secret: become involved in any kind of group (or just don't be a complete weirdo) and you'll have no problem making friends and having a social life. I guess you could call Drew cliquey - athletes hang out together, theater people hang out together, etc. - but there are so many different cliques that everyone can easily find a place. Plus, a lot of that exclusiveness dissapears after freshman year. In other words, you can find on-campus parties to go to and you won't be standing around in the corner - you'll know people. There are also a couple of good bars in Morristown for 21-year-olds and up. (They do check IDs). And if you like bigger, club parties, you can always go to NYC. It's a 40 minute train ride for 11 bucks.

Academics: There are good and bad classes and good and bad professors. Just ask your older friends what classes to take. It's so small that everyone knows. Overall I'd rate Drew's educational quality average to high. I don't think I gained a ton of knowledge, but I learned interesting things and mastered skills I'll need for a real job.
