To sum up Kean University all I can say is that it is what it is. I couldn't afford to go to a better school for my freshman year, and got stuck at Kean. At first, I thought I would absolutly hate it, but over some time I've grown neutral about the school. Course work is not at all challenging and this is the reason that I am transferring out. There are some amazing professors but the work is like a bad joke someone retells every year. I've met some students with a brilliant mind and they're also transferring out. I'd recommend Kean if you want a place to go to until you figure out where you really want to go. The campus (East Campus especially) is beautiful, but overall Kean is definetly high school part 2. It's hard to walk around the campus without hearing about who slept with whom and who broke up with whom. The girls tend to dress trashy and some of the guys are jock-like. I'm neutral about the staff because I've experienced both pleasant and unpleasent workers. So all-in-all Kean is the limbo between high school and a real college. It gives you time to decide where you're ment to go, but if you spend too much time there, your education will become a lifetime joke.
