NJIT is the type of school you go to if you enjoy spending your time sitting in your dorm room playing World of War craft all day and then sitting through lectures in which the teacher can barely speak English. If you are NOT interested in woman at all then NJIT is definitely the school for you because the ratio is something like 8 men to every female.

The architecture program is tough to get into but once you’re in it, the all-nighters start occurring. 6 maybe 7 times if you’re lucky and have fun with the final project. The professors are relentless and will not hesitate to say whatever’s on their mind. Expect heavy criticism with little feedback and no support.

If you have a learning disability then you are screwed because you will have a hard time find a faculty member to sympathize. No calculator's for math is pretty ridiculous and expect to have exams with information not even taught in class.

The food is good the first few weeks but then it becomes old. They make the lunches better than dinners because of the number of commuters that are there, so when dinner comes around… its leftovers.

It feels like half the population at NJIT is Indian. It is definitely an extremely diverse school, ethically but not socially. Many of the students are hermits and stay in there rooms. The dorms are decent unless you have one of the rooms in which the showerhead doest work or your toilet doesn’t flush.

Weekends at NJIT are the most fun because when everyone goes home you can sit in your room by yourself and watch movies all day. If you don’t like watching movies then you can go to the campus center and join the 5 other kids there and maybe play some pool or a game of volleyball.

Overall NJIT is the type of school you go to if you get decent grades, good SAT scores, LOVE math, HATE girls, enjoy quiet time and like playing W.O.W.
