This review is of no help whatsoever! I think that the value of this description is as bad as the grammar it uses. Abilities? The SHU? weaker-looking student? What is this person talking about??? If I had to guess, I'd say this student (if the person really is one) is disgruntled and his/her transcript is probably a mirror image of the grades he/she gave gave in this review! |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I wouldn't recommend Seton Hall to anyone who has the abilities to attend a better University. The campus is boring, full of commuters, disorganized, and the majority of students don't care about their education. The freshman retention rating speaks for itself as it's at a steady 80% and would likely be lower if it included those intending to transfer…I feel compelled to add that the SHU is located at the edge or South Orange bordering Irvington/Newark and walking around off campus is not safe. If you're a parent of a weaker-looking student I would advise you against sending your child here, they are at a high risk for assault…take a right down south orange ave instead of a left when exiting the campus and get a true grasp of the surrounding area.Simply reviewing the crime statistics on campus and the crime rate of South Orange village speaks for itself. Ever heard of a small, quiet, friendly looking town with 20-30 patrol cars, most of which are ON CALL or patroling at any given time? Strong arm/gunpoint robberies are not uncommon outside campus.
