After a thorough investigation of what SHU had to offer, I choose to attend here. Great scholarship, spoken highly of technology advancements, proximity to NYC, "teachers know students by name", etc. Unfortunetly, the school lied. Technology (such as email server, wireless access, campus printers, ID security swipers) constantly fail, NYC is further than stated by SHU (train station is 10-15 minutes away not 5-7, train ride is not 25 minutes but rather 40), teachers do not know students by name nor do they care to learn them. Classes are frequently cancelled due to "traffic" because professors teach at other schools as well. SHU also is very unorganized; forms are lost and not sent, office staff uncaring. The school is also surrounded by unsafe areas (hence the gated campus) which recently has resulted in numerous muggings and people held at gunpoint. Also, the SHUfly shuttle is unreliable, driver seems to chose when to stop at certain stops if at all.
