A word of caution from a former student who transferred to California—don't go to any of the Cal States or to the lower ranked private universities because they're no good and they don't feel like a real university. If you want the real university experience, the UC's are highly ranked in the world and will give you that real experience. There are also private universities in California that are famous and will give you the real university experience. Just make sure that the private school you want to transfer to is officially a tier 1 school because anything lower is no better than UNLV. Good luck. |
Thanks for the advice hun. That's exactly what I intend to do. I'm gonna try for UC Berkeley. |
Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I did not graduate from here. I stopped attending my sophomore year. I found this school to be a serious joke. It's getting worse every year. The kids are illiterate and the faculty is mediocre. Do NOT come to UNLV unless you're a hotel major! I'm working on leaving the state to attend a "real" university in California.
