How were you able to transfer your credits to Columbia? i've heard that Metropolitan's credits do not transfer to any college. Thank you |
Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
Metropolitan College of New York is predominantly a non-traditional college, where students are not your average, run of the mill, 18-21 year olds, but rather students that work full-time and attend classes mostly in the evenings. Another thing to note about students is that many of us (I'm not saying all) come from backgrounds where we faced adversity such as trouble with the law, teen pregnancy and other unique life situations. The Audrey Cohen School for Human Services is a great program despite what the two other reviews mentioned. Yes, I do believe that the school should hold students accountable for their work and their actions. However, the school is willing to invest in students that want to make their lives better and the communities we live in safer. Is that so bad? While students whine and complain about the level of service or the inadequacies of the college, I chose to funnel all my energies into being active at Metropolitan. Thanks to my hard work and education at Metropolitan, I have been accepted to the Columbia University School of Social Work. Now, you tell me.. is Metropolitan so bad?
