You can be anything you want to be at Colgate and you can do anything you want to do. That's the best strength of a liberal arts education, and that's the epitome of Colgate. The problem is that there's not enough time in the day to do it all, but after four years, your Colgate experiences will have prepared you well and will be a part of your soul. I think it's hard to see that as a freshman; everything is so new and there are so many adjustments to be made that students' attitudes are mixed. But by senior year, you realize you couldn't have gone anywhere else. If you're not motivated to be active with the endless options either on campus or within the local community, then your four years here at Colgate will make you feel even more isolated. This is a place to get involved and to have fun doing it. The encouraging professors and administation, and not-too-big but not-too-small student body make it possible and want the best experience for students.Go 'Gate
