If your goal in college is to perfect your social skills, don't come to Colgate. If you spend your time judging other people and think that high tuition means everyone will think like you, don't come to Colgate. If you want to live in a big city… you get the idea. Colgate is a fine school. You can work your butt off and learn something here. You can enjoy some extraordinary scenery, and yes, you can freeze. That's what Colgate is about. I feel good about stepping off the cliff in May and entering the working world. The isolation of Hamilton helped build my self-confidence. Isolation and boredom can have upsides.
