Wow. Thanks for the review. My daughter IS an intellectual and would be wasting space. Bowdoin or Williams, it is. I was just looking for an out school. As for me, I'm the opposite. I could drink anyone under the table at your pretentious wannabee school. We partied 7 days a week at my college. |
PS: You actually admit getting a 1370 on the SAT? I thought this school was selective? Not even a good out school if 1370 gets you in. |
Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I really love Colgate, it is exactly the kind of atmosphere I always dreamed of going to college in. Gorgeous campus, some great professors, tons of great friends, and parties at least three days a week (Wed, Fri, Sat.) The school's unofficial motto is and in my experience it absolutely is true. You can get a similar education elsewhere, but Colgate's party scene is what separates it from its peer institutions. If you don't plan on participating in it, please go to Williams or Cornell. You would be taking up the space of someone who would truly love the school. The other students in my classes are smart but I would not call them nerdy intellectual types and the student body tends to be on the preppy side of the spectrum. The school's name and reputation really help in landing summer jobs and internships.
