Cornell is a true college experience. The city of Ithaca is pretty horrible, so when you come to Cornell, expect to stay on campus a lot. The bars are hard to get into. Frat life is dominant. Consequently, you build really strong friendships and see the same faces every night. Nothing like city schools - where you go to bars and clubs and meet new people all the time. The workload sucks and no one is there to wipe your a** anymore which takes time to get used to. And socially, not a whole lot of good looking kids here. What you see is what you get. You come to Cornell, have a decent college experience, make good friends, and come out with an ivy league degree. That's it. There won't be late night orgies or Girls Gone Wild, but you won't be horribly disappointed either. The work does drain you, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
