Cornell is a great school, as long as you're willing to take advantage of the countless opportunities it offers. You must keep up in the academic field, but there are plenty of resources (office hours, tutors, take note, etc) to help you do so. As for the social life, it is what you make of it- find a group of friends in the greek system or in athletics, music, religious groups, and you'll have the time of your life.
